Apple iPhone 5 will Release Nov. 21

FBR Capital Markets predicts Apple iPhone 5 will begin production in the 3rd quarter, iPhone 5 has a 8MP camera and Qualcomm CDMA-GSM chips. FBR said there are about 20 million iPhones will be produced.

OmniVision will be a supplier of components for camera modules 8-megapixel CMOS sensor and Sony will be the backup supplier. Apple will use chips from Qualcomm's CDMA-GSM.

"Our contacts have confirmed to us that Qualcomm will replace the component chips from Intel as a supplier that sells baseband CDMA / WCDMA baseband," wrote FBR.

Previously we had heard iPhone 5 release date is expected on November 21.
