This is the official statement from RIM:
BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac v2.1 will support BlackBerry Playbook. To support you in doing drag and drop files to BlackeBerry Playbook via USB or Wi-Fi. Using Desktop Software for Mac to syncronize music files, photos, and videos with iTunes and iPhoto.
