Samsung AMOLED Mobile Display 'Bend & Transparent'

Samsung Mobile Display is currently developing an AMOLED panel that can be bent, Later on Samsung will introduce smartphones, and tablets are also open and transparent functioning form something like the one used in the photo frame. The screen also uses augmented reality and shows a concept of a digital magazine.

The plan is flexible AMOLED display will be released in 2012. But actually this is not a new concept, since some other vendors have also planned. Nokia for example has been introduced via Nokia Germ and Kinetic peculiar to them.
